All aboard for the age of steam. A grand old train station with a big clock, travellers on the platform and a vintage steam locomotive pulling in. Build it piece by piece, slide it onto your shelf, and let the sensor light greet you each time you walk past.

Why you'll love it

  • Station-side detail. A station clock, little travellers and a steam engine at the platform.
  • Two ways to light it. The sensor light switches on as you approach and off again after a minute or two. The touch light stays on until you turn it off.
  • Dust cover included. A clear acrylic cover keeps your finished scene looking fresh.
  • A gift that gets built. For the train lover, the history buff, or anyone who loves a good journey.

The details

  • Material: wood
  • Recommended age: 14 and up
  • Build time: about 4 to 6 hours, with clear picture instructions
  • Arrives as a kit to build yourself, not pre-assembled

You'll also need

  • 3 x AA batteries (not included)
  • Craft glue (not included)

Glue and batteries don't come in the kit box. Add our Build Day Pack (craft glue + 4 AA batteries) and you're ready to build the day your kit arrives.

Glue and batteries aren't in the kit box. This pack has both, for less than buying them separately.

Tips for a smooth build

Dry-fit first

Slot each piece into place before you glue it. It's far easier to spot a misfit now than after it sets.

Test the lights early

Switch the lights on before you close up the walls and tuck the wiring away.

Go light on the glue

Thin layers dry cleaner and are much easier to correct if something shifts.
